The Marshalltown School Board talked about enrollment and early retirement as they met Monday afternoon and evening. School Board approved an early retirement program for the present school year. School Superintendent Doctor Theron Schutte says the certified enrollment numbers will be up some 23 to 28 students from last year, the final numbers are not in yet. The state champion boys golf team from Marshalltown High School was recognized. Students and staff from Hoglan Elementary School presented to the board on the subject of STEM.
