A boil order remains in effect this morning for State Center. Work on the water tower has resulted in the need for residents to boil their water.

There was apparently some confusion late yesterday when the boil order was issued. Some folks who receive notices via Alert Iowa apparently thought the order was for all of Marshall County. It is not; it’s only for State Center. No timeline has been shared as to when the boil order will be lifted.
