In this day of mergers and acquisitions, when a bank has been family owned for 150 years, it’s worth celebrating. A year’s worth of activities will culminate on Thursday when the Hardin County Savings Bank celebrates, to the day, its founding 150 years ago. Christie Pence says the bank is the seventh oldest in the state.

An Open House on Thursday at both the Eldora and Union locations, will include food, entertainment and surrey rides in Eldora.
