The Marshalltown School Board has accepted the resignation/retirement of Activities Director Rollie Ackerman. Ackerman, who came to Marshalltown from Grundy Center nearly three years ago, said he decided it was just time after 30 years in public education.
Ackerman’s notice to the district gives the School Board a nice lead in time to find a new A.D. As for what Ackerman will do after June 30th, he just says you never know what will show up.
