The World Trade Organization says the European Union can impose about four billion dollars’ worth of tariffs on U.S. goods, a year after saying the U.S. could impose 7.5 billion in tariffs on the EU.
The European Union reportedly has several farm products slated for tariffs, including orange juice concentrate, grapes, grapefruit, vegetable oils, pistachios, hazelnuts, walnuts, many seafood items, and some alcoholic beverages including wine, rum, and vodka.
The additional tariffs might be imposed as early as October 26th.
