Starting today and continuing through mid-week, rain will spread across the mid-South, Midwest, and Northeast, with more than an inch possible in many locations. Thanksgiving Day should feature mild, dry weather across most of the country, except for rain gradually ending along the East Coast. Late in the week, showers and thunderstorms will develop across the South, particularly from the western Gulf Coast region to the Mississippi Delta, while some snow may fall in southern parts of the Rockies and High Plains.
