James “Jim” Montgomery, 85, of State Center, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on the evening of May 8, 2021 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa.
Services for Jim will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in State Center. A visitation for family and friends will be held one 
hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim’s name may be directed to Israel Family Hospice Home or Trinity Lutheran Church in State Center. For additional
