John Arthur Fuller, 54, of Marshalltown, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Unity Point Health in Marshalltown.

Funeral services for John will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Center Street Baptist Church in Marshalltown. Visitation will be on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed to the family. John Fuller was born on July 5, 1967 in Iowa Falls to Gary and Judy Ward Fuller. John graduated from Iowa Falls High School in 1986. He was united in marriage to Christina Potter on September 20, 2019. John had been employed with Hy-Vee in Marshalltown as a meat cutter. He was a member of Center Street Baptist Church as well as a Scout Leader for Troop 329 for the Boy Scouts of America, where he had the honor to present the Eagle Scout Award to his son, Nicholas. John enjoyed building models, playing video games, working outside, “tinkering” with cars and was a fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Philadelphia Eagles. John never knew a stranger and loved to visit with everyone he came across.

John is survived by his wife, Chris of Marshalltown and his son, Nicholas Fuller of Green Mountain. Siblings: Terri (Jess) Peterson of Alden, Beth (John) Miller of Panora and Pam (Kurt Johnson) Sicard of Alden. He is also survived by his mother, Judy of Iowa Falls and his “bonus” children: Andrew Potter of Marshalltown, Tim Potter of Ames and Abbie Potter of New Bedford, Massachusetts as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

John is preceded in death by his former wife and mother to Nicholas, Elaine Baxa Fuller and his father, Gary.
