A 5-month-old boy has died while at a Newton home daycare.
Newton Police say they were called late yesterday morning to the home in the 700 block of East 12th Street Place North. The non-responding infant was taken to MercyOne Newton, but rescue efforts failed.
Law enforcement is continuing to investigate. The State Medical Examiner has scheduled an autopsy.
