The head of the Kansas Corn Growers Association says he wants the Biden administration to follow through on campaign promises to support ethanol.
Greg Krissek tells Brownfield there’s uncertainty in the industry because Renewable Volume Obligations under the Renewable Fuel Standard haven’t been set. “What are the RVO’s going to be like for ’21-22 but the talk that they might go back to ’20 and we’re very concerned the message that signals.”
The Environmental Protection Agency hasn’t released RVO requirements yet as a November 30, 2021 deadlines approaches.
