Much of the country will experience relatively tranquil weather for the remainder of Thanksgiving Week. In fact, little or no precipitation will occur during the next 5 days across California, as well as the Great Basin, Plains, and upper Midwest. By Thanksgiving Day, a cold front stretching from the Great Lakes States to the western Gulf Coast region will become active, featuring scattered to widespread rain showers. Snow showers may develop in the vicinity of the Great Lakes.
