The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is putting an emphasis on decongesting the supply chain.
CEO Ted McKinney tells Brownfield NASDA’s newly released policy priorities are based on areas where state ag departments are uniquely positioned to direct policymaking solutions.
“If you think about it, every one of our members is involved with a port, an airport, a waterway, certainly roads and bridges. And some of the (state ag directors) sit on the boards of some of these containerized ports and the like, so our members do have a role and can speak up and make suggestions.
