Marshalltown Community College has announced that two current players for the Tiger softball program have received D-1 Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference All-Region honors.

Paige Westlin received 1st Team All-Region and Emalee Davis Received 2nd Team All-Region.

Westlin, a Freshman from Eldridge, Iowa, was a power hitter for MCC this season, having the third most home runs and fourth best slugging percentage, as well as the fourth best batting average.  She also received ICCAC Athlete of the Week  twice this season.

Davis, a freshman from Oskaloosa, Iowa, had a .329 batting average for the Tigers.  She had five home runs and 36 RBI’s for the season.
