The beautiful soul of Jan Anderson, 64, lifelong resident of Laurel, was forever united with her Heavenly Father and beloved husband on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She passed away at Iowa River Hospice Home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Services for Jan will take place on Monday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Laurel United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Memorial contributions may be directed to: Laurel United Methodist Church, Laurel United Methodist Cemetery, Iowa River Hospice or Laurel Fire Department.
