Eva “June” Haack, 103, of Gladbrook, IA passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook. Visitation will take place 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2023 at Peace United Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Crystal Cemetery. Eva “June” was born June 4, 1919 to Herman and Edith Slate in Stark, IA. A longtime resident of Gladbrook, June and her husband, Clarence, raised one daughter, Linda. June babysat for many Gladbrook families. She had a love for cats, birds, kids, gardening, and being with her neighbors.

June will be missed by her daughter, Linda. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, her parents, one sister, Charlene, and two brothers, Mearl and Glen.
