An agronomist in west central Missouri says the planting season has been productive.

“Progress is moving along very well.”  He says, “There’s a lot of corn that has gone in and some of it’s up, beans as well. Up until this last weekend, we were extremely dry. We’ve now gotten some rain and things are moving along pretty well.”

He reminds farmers to scout newly planted fields.
