Volleyball

Last night was the Apgar Quad at the Marshalltown Roundhouse.  The Bobcat Volleyball team faced off against Solon, Waverly-Shell Rock, and Dallas Center-Grimes.  The Bobcats were the only unranked team, and that was the story. They first faced Solon who beat the Bobcats 2-0.  Next was Waverly-Shell Rock and they took down the Bobcats 2-0.  Finally the Bobcats faced the 11-0 Dallas-Center Grimes squad and they swept the Bobcats 2-0.  The Bobcat Volleyball record is now 1-4 and will get the weekend off from competition. They next play on Tuesday at Des Moines East.

Boys Golf

Yesterday the Bobcat Boys Golf Team traveled to Mason City for a dual against the Riverhawks.  The Boys were able to shoot the low score edging out the Riverhawks by just 3 strokes.  The Bobcats win 155 to 158.  The boys will be off this weekend as they prepare for two competitions next week starting Tuesday against Fort Dodge.
