JBS Frozen Pork Sale – SSA Nationals Fundraiser

JBS is bringing their refrigerated trailer back to the softball complex on May 23rd from 5-8PM to raise money for the SSA Men’s 16″ Major National Championship Tournament! Available cuts include Iowa Chops ($15 for a 12lb box), KC BBQ Boneless Backrib ($25 for a 11lb box), and St. Louis Ribs ($45 for a 30lb box). Noah’s Love 2nd Childhood Cancer Fundraiser

This event is in honor of Noah Ohrt, son of Ed and Kathy Ohrt, Gladbrook. Noah had Ewing Sarcoma Cancer, a very aggressive primary form of bone cancer. Noah was diagnosed at age 15. Noah became an Angel at age 17, March 8, 2014. Public Meeting Scheduled for Floodplain Map Updates

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will host a public open house on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, to present preliminary floodplain maps to Story County citizens.
