In Marshalltown there was .33 hundreths of an inch of rain along with marble sized hail, reports from rural Marshalltown included half inch hail and hail .88 of an inch in diameter. Large hail was reported at Gladbrook. Rural Iowa Falls had a wind gust of 58 miles per hour. Big hail was reported at Van Meter where car windows were smashed. Large hail was reported at Cambridge in Story County. Golf ball sized hail reported at Huxley. Hail 2.75 inches in diameter reported at Bedford. Tornado`s were reported at Earlham , Dexter, Bedford, Stuart, Pleasantville and New Virginia. Alliant Energy reported a power outage at Marion. Fort Dodge had a 59 mile per hour wind gust.
