The Marshalltown School Board moved forward on what is called Phase Two of the Roundhouse project, awarding a bid to do the work to Ball Construction of Urbandale for six point seven million dollars. An attempt was made to slow the project down by Garling Construction of Marshalltown who cried foul with the bid awarding process, but after a special meeting with the school district attorney, school board voted to move forward and award a bid.
