The Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown held an Open House on Wednesday. It started at the guard house at the entrance to the facility, some history was presented by Commandant Timon Oujiri, then participants took a self guided tour of the parts of the facility they wanted to see. A Harvest Market was held at the nearby 13th Street District with music and vendor sales. Good weather for the event.
