The Marshalltown High School boys golf team won the state title at the Elmwood Country Club by 14 strokes Saturday on a rainy day. Bobcat Nate Vance shot an eagle on the first hole of a four way playoff to win the individual state title as well. This is the fourth state golf title in school history. There will be an assembly at school at the Roundhouse at ten a-m Monday to honor the team.
