The USDA has increased its estimate of corn production for Iowa and the nation.

Iowa’s yields are now expected to average 197 bushels per acre, which would be the second highest harvest on record.

Nationally, the USDA says the average yield is expected to be 175 bushels for acres. That would be an all-time high.
