Unity Point Health is telling Iowans it may sever ties with Amerigroup, one of two remaining options for companies that managed care for Medicaid patients.

Unity Point Health, which includes the hospital facility in Marshalltown, says if it is unable to complete negotiations with Amerigroup by the end of the year, it may not renew the contract with the company.
