Tait Purk will be facing Judge Ian Thornrill a the Tama County Courthouse today. The Judge is scheduled to return a verdict in Purk’s first degree murder trial. Purk is accused of killing his fiance. A jury trial declared Purk guilty, but he was given a  second trail, which Purk chose to have decided by a judge.
