Iowa crops are doing pretty good according to the latest crop report, issued weekly by the USDA. The report indicates 82% of the corn and 81% of the soybeans are in good to excellent condition. Temperature extremes for the week ranged from 55 degrees at Algona to 97 degrees recorded at Des Moines, Lamoni, and Sioux City. State Climatologist, Harry Hillaker says it was a hot, humid week.
