The riders of RAGBRAI are making their way from Leon to Centerville in their trek through southern Iowa today. The rider count on Tuesday was some 20,000. The weather has been good for the ride especially in comparison to last week when the state was under an excessive heat warning. State Trooper Doug Cutts who is from our area is directing traffic in his final RAGBRAI as he will be retiring from the State Patrol in January after thirty years of service to the state of Iowa.
