An Iowa State football player was hurt after being hit by a vehicle in the Ames area. Chase Allen had to have 103 stitches as a result, but is expected to be okay. He is the son of former Northern Iowa head coach, Terry Allen. Program officials say he may be back in time for the early work outs by the football team.
