The Marshalltown Community College women`s basketball team snapped out of a 23 game losing streak with a 61-57 win over Iowa Central Community College on Wednesday, while the M-C-C men were edged by Kirkwood Community College by the score of 78-75. The women are 1-2 and the men are 4-1. The Emerson Basketball Classic will be contested on Friday and Saturday at the Student Activity Center with games both women`s and men`s at one, three, five and seven p-m each day. There will be plenty of Junior College Basketball to go around.
