Rescue crews Wednesday morning were called to a location at rural Haverhill where a man apparently fell to his death. Marshall County Sheriff Steve Hoffman reports the man was from Jasper County and the incident happened in the 300 Block of Marsh Avenue. The man was identified as 66 year old Larry Van Wyngarden who was pronounced dead at the scene. Sheriff Hoffman says it appears the victim fell from a feed trailer.
