The Business Insider website on Tuesday reported that Sears Holding company announced that among a list of store closures was the K-Mart store on South Center Street in Marshalltown. The closure will take place in September. The company announced a list of 71 other closures including 48 K-Marts, 16 Sears and seven Sears Auto Centers. The company has been struggling for a while, they had announced 104 closures that took place last April. The local Sears store is not impacted.
