City Councilman Joel Greer says he wants to be Mayor of Marshalltown. Greer has turned in nomination papers to the City Clerk at city hall. Two other candidates for City Council turned in papers, Dan Kester for City Council in the first ward, and Brittany O’Shea for an at large City Council seat. That is it so far for an election on November 7th. Marshalltown Mayor Jim Lowrance says he does not want to run again.
