The Marshalltown High School boys golf team won the Ankeny Invite Wednesday at Otter Creek in Ankeny by the margin of four strokes. Cole Davis, a sophomore was medalist for the event, shooting a three under par 68. The team total was 295. J-D Pollard was 5th shooting a 73.

This afternoon, former Athletic Director Tim Bell will be honored prior to the Marshalltown Bobcat Cross Country meet at 3:30 at the MCC cross country course. A cross country shelterhouse has been built and created in his name.

There is a swim meet at the Roundhouse Pool this afternoon. Marshalltown will host Cedar Rapids Washington at 5:30.
