The Iowa Hawkeyes were not much of challenge last night for Virginia tech in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Hokies hung a 79-55 loss on the Hawkeyes. Coach Fran McCaffrey said it just wasn’t a good night for his team.

Tyler Cook had 16 points to lead Iowa. The Hawks open Big Ten play Saturday at Carver-Hawkeye versus Penn State.
