High school basketball in a game heard on 1230 KFJB, East Marshall clinched the 2A District 13 title with a 56 to 39 victory over rival West Marshall. The seventh ranked Mustangs next battle 3rd ranked South Hamilton in the substate finals. South Hamilton defeated Clarion-Goldfield last night 76 to 50. Saturday night’s game will be at Nevada and we’ll have all the substate final action at 6:55 Saturday evening on 1230 KFJB.
IN 1A semifinal action last night, Gladbrook-Reinbeck downed North Tama 68 to 38. The Rebels will face Meskwaki for the district title tomorrow night. Meskwaki eliminated Belle Plaine last night 57 to 40. The district final will begin at seven tomorrow night at East Marshall High SChool.
In 1A-4 last night, the season came to an end for AGWSR, as Don Bosco defeated the cougars 78 to 46.
