The help wanted sign is out at the Eldora-New Providence school district. It is need of a superintendant. Jay Mathis has accepted a similar post in the Allamakee School District.

The Eldora-New Providence school board will be meeting this evening to discuss the pending vacancy.

Mathis’ departure is the third major loss for area schools. Elementary  Principal. In addition, Annie Bradford will be leaving her post as is Hubbard-Radcliffe Superintendant PJ Heinz.
