Four months and ten days. That’s how long the folks in State Center have to prepare for an invasion of bicyclists during this summer’s RAGBRAI. The community was announced as the meeting town for day four of the event when it leaves Ames and ends up in Newton. Mayor Steve Sodders says it’ll be a challenge, but the community is getting geared up.
One of the first things to do; get a planning committee established with an eye on that day of July 25th.
