A Gilbert man is dead after a two car crash on Highway 69 yesterday morning.

Iowa State Patrol officials said 25-year-old Zechariah Conrad, of Gilbert, died in the crash.

The other driver, 65-year-old Story City resident Richard Tjernagel, was taken to Mary Greeley with non-life-threatening injuries.

Reports indicate that a northbound vehicle drifted across the center line, and struck the southbound vehicle.
