Are you one of those people who’s first impression of someone you meet is the impression that stays with you? Students at Marshalltown Community College may help change your mind. The first MCC Diversity gallery Walk debuts today at the Ray Frederick Galley. MCC Diversity Committee member Carolyn Briggs says the idea came when MCC Faculty member Sally Wilson saw a similar project. Briggs says the portraits will be large photos with whiteboard messages about the individual.
The MCC Diversity gallery Walk runs all this week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Ray Frederick gallery.
