No one was injured in a late morning fire in the 200 block of West Meadow Lane in Marshalltown,

When the Marshalltown Fire Department arrived, fire was found in the attached garage which spread to the attic area throughout the house. One person, along with his dog, was able to escape the blaze. The cause of the fire, which resulted in an estimated 150 thousand dollars in damage, remains under investigation.
