The University of Northern Iowa women’s soccer team (1-0-2) secured their first win of the season , 1-0 against Colorado State (1-1-2).
Freshman Sophia Conant scored her first goal as a Panther in the 87th minute, placing the ball on the inside of the goal. Conant led the Panthers in shots (2), playing 26 minutes in the match.
The Panthers return to the state of Iowa to take on VCU and Central Michigan, with both matches taking place in Iowa City. VCU and the Panthers will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
