it continues to be the short term pain, while awaiting the long term gain when it comes to recovery and rebuilding in Marshalltown after the tornado. While many businesses are rebuilding, the rewsidential rebuilding is in a holding pattern. The good news, per Marshalltown Mayor Joel Greer, is that more developers are showing an interest. One items being discussed is the amount of land needed for new family units.

Where and when they might be built is still very much to be decided. Some of those answers might come once the city learns whether any federal aid will be offered or not to the community.
