The Marshalltown Area United Way’s Capital Campaign is officially off and running. Co-Chairs Marshall County Sheriff Steve Hoffman and Marshalltown police Captain Chris Jones announced that 348 thousand of the 768-thousand dollar goal has already been raised.

To help you learn more about the agencies served by the United Way, our Central Iowa Today noon program on Friday’s over the next couple of months will focus on what those agencies do with United Way money.
