With help from Humanities, Iowa, the Historical Society of Marshall County has its next History On Third event this coming Thursday. Mary Kay Shanley will talk about “The Obituary-Yours or Someone Else’s”.

Administrator Michelle Roseburrough says Shanley was to be the speaker for the Third Thursday presentation on July 19thy, but most of us know what happened that day. The tornado also damaged the Historical Society’s home, so Thursday night’s program will be at 6:30 at Grimes Farm.
