So, who really thought a little ole tornado would keep Oktemberfest down? It all begins Thursday evening at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds with kids night and kids night kicks off with the Little Miss and Mister Oktemberfest. There’s a lot of the usual kids activities, plus more for teens.

Heidi Draisey of the Oktemberfest committee says  among other new items on Thursday night is a Game Bus for the gamers.
