A man walked in to a U.S. Bank branch in Ames late yesterday (Friday) afternoon and walked out with a bunch cash that wasn’t in his account.

Ames Police say the thief showed a handgun and demanded the money from the clerk. No one was injured.  Anyone with information on this bank robbery is asked to call the Ames Police or Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa.
