First responders are still mourning the loss of a Clinton firefighter, while a second firefighter’s condition is improving.

Lieutenant Eric Hosette died while fighting a fire at an ADM plant when there was an explosion at the plant.

Adam Cain has initially been listed in critical condition at the U of I Hospitals, but he improved yesterday.

Memorial services are pending for Hosette. City officials said a wake and memorial service were expected to be later in the week.
