Ankeny Invite; Marshalltown second, Amber Henson fourth overall with an 83. Valley took the team title.

BCLUW bested Grundy Center by 9 shots with Gladbrook-Reinbeck third.

West Marshall over AGWSR  223-229

East Marshall defeated  South Hardin 247 to 254 with Colo-NESCO third.

Boys Track

BCLUW captured the Les Penick Relays by 38 points over runner up Aplington-Parkersburg. Matt Garber of the Comets captured three individual events, including the 100-meter dash.

Ames 2nd, Marshalltown 8th at the Cardinal Invite at Newton. Ottumwa took the Boys Crown. The Little Cyclones Nick O’Connor won the 1600 meter, teammate Bennett Ryken the 3200 meters, while Ames Tadeas Diress won the 110 Hurdles.  Marshalltown’s Dwight Joar was second in the high jump, trailing South Tama’s Keith Keahna.

Girls Track

Cedar Rapids Prairie took the team title in the Cardinal Invite. Ames was s9th, Marshalltown 11th. Marshalltown’s Pheobe Hermanson won the 3,000 meters, Ames Hope Morken won the 100-meter hurdles.
