After a lot of work and a lot of effort, a groundbreaking will be held Wednesday for a Veteran’s Memorial in Eldora. The monument will honor all who have served from the community.

Christie Pence of the Veteran’s Committee says the ceremony will begin at 4;00 at the south end of Memorial Park, followed by walking tacos and cake to be served at the Eldora American Legion. Pence says the committee is continuing to raise funds to assure the cost of the monument will be covered.
