You may have seen the signs; the repaving work on South Center Street will be starting next week in Marshalltown, Tony Gustafson of the DOT says the first phase will be saw cutting, which will initially reduce traffic on one side of the street to one lane.

The bulk of the project though will reduce Center Street to one lane in each direction. Regarding another project, Gustafson says the plan…for now, is the Highway 146 bridge project over the railroad tracks is still on the agenda to be completed by the fourth of July.
